Rocco's First Word...Bah Bah!
Yesterday afternoon Rocco spoke his first word!!!
Not da da or ma ma but Bah Bah?! We'll take it!
It was so exciting and fortunately the camera was close by so we are able to share with everyone.

Happy Summer!
On May 31 Rocco's first tooth came in. Now he has two bottom teeth... and for the past few weeks he has been sitting up on his own. Rocco still isn't a fan of tummy time so it may be awhile before he crawls. Summer is finally here and in a couple more weeks, the Stencils and the Finns will be here! Rocco can't wait to meet his cousins!!!

Happy Memorial Day!
I started this post on Memorial Day, became involved in something else and never finished. Fortunately, I had uploaded a few pictures. The next day I turned the computer on and was unable to connect to windows...everything was gone. Well, it didn't have to be gone if I wanted to pay $130 for the man that I could barely understand try to save it for me but that is a whole other story. Aside from the stupid computer, life is good. Rocco is close to 17 pounds, teething, starting to eat solids and getting ready to crawl. He is so much fun and we are loving every second of it.

Rocco's First Parade
Last Sunday we were invited to Tracey & Adam's house to watch the Saint Patrick's Day Parade. Pa Hoadley is the Chief of the Stonington Borough Fire Department and marched in the parade. Rocco was awake for most of the parade, but was sleeping when Pa Hoadley marched by.

Rocco had his 2 month visit at the doctor's this week. He weighs 14 pounds and is now 2 feet tall!

Rocco's Christening

Rocco was baptized on Sunday. He was awake for the baptism and didn't cry when the holy water was poured on his head. It is hard to see his outfit, but the shirt was worn by his father, the vest & bonnet were worn by his grandfather JT and Uncle Jack, the sweater and booties were knit for Rocco by his great, great Aunt Laura and the tights are his very own. These are only a couple of the many pictures taken. We are waiting for the gazillion pictures that everyone took and will post more once we have them.
