Marley's First Year

Marley's first birthday was on September 4. We had cake, party hats, and played games. One year ago today, Marley became a part of our family. She is a very sweet dog and we know that she is going to be a great big sister.

Thank You

Last month a baby shower was held in our honor. Much thought and hard work was put into planning and we were "showered" with wonderful gifts for the baby. We would like everyone to know how grateful we are and appreciate all of you sharing in our excitement!

It's a Boy!

24 Weeks

My last doctor's appointment was on August 27. We had an ultrasound and saw the baby's head, belly, a tiny behind and legs kicking. At the appointment the baby weighed 1lb. 10 oz. The next appointment is on September 26.

Playdate

Marley met her new cousin Francine today. Francine is a beautiful, four month old German Shepard/Akita mix. Francine brought her three brothers and sister because she knows how much Marley loves children. Marley, Francine, Matthew, Adam, Thomas & Chelsea played well togeher for over an hour. Chelsea was knocked over a few times, but with three older brothers she is a tough 19 month old. Marley can't wait for the next playdate!

Halfway

Jay & I went the doctor's yesterday. We listened to the heartbeat and everything sounds great! We can't believe how fast the time is flying by!

Off Leash

Last week the invisible fence was installed and yesterday was Marley's first day off leash. At first she stood still not sure what to do and soon enough she was running laps around the house. The big test was when Grammy, Auntie Ashley & Uncle Winston came down to distract her.

16 Weeks

I went to the doctors on Thursday and was able to hear the baby's heartbeat again! This was just as as exciting as hearing it a few weeks ago. Our next appointment is in four weeks. The next ultrasound will be around Labor Day.

12 Weeks

We went to the doctor's today and heard the baby's heartbeat!! Now I am keeping my fingers crossed that the queasiness will be gone soon....
